Starlight 03:25
A Living Sky cuts across a perfect night I’m lying still underneath a billion lights And somewhere out beyond the span of space and time Starlight shelter’s peace of mind A new dawn breaks as the Sun begins to rise Giving birth to hopeful dreams Of bigger cities where the music never ends And where they’d come to know my name A course of fortune and of fame Standing up to play the game Ten-thousand miles, and taking a step Chasing a dream, desires are set But as I stood amidst the city on my own I looked above, couldn’t see the Starlight And I was lost Somewhere out there, I thought I heard my name The world turned from night to day So I looked out on the city as it changed Starlight’s fading away Starlight’s fading away Starlight's fading away Starlight's fading away

Hwy 1 04:24
Well the sunrise gleams bright over the Wheatland And the big Living Sky leads on for miles And not a thing to cross my mind in the stillness so sublime That could turn me away from that Old Prairie Road It wasn’t just a way back home, it was a way of life Everything I ever was or thought could become Just an old gravel road heading southbound At a turnoff sign, “head East on Hwy 1” When I hit the open road back in ’14 And I took that ol’ Trans Am out in the Sun And when my dad gave me the keys to her before I left all on my own He said, “Don’t you worry son, I’ll be here when you get home.” And I can still hear his voice, I can still see his face The depth of a father’s love - held strong for his son And he kept his word true from all those years ago When I came back home a-rolling on Hwy 1 Well the highway led on and my love was growing strong As I drove on my way back to you And I had brought the ring with me, to ask if you’d agree And you were saying ‘yes’ as I got down on my knee Don’t know where the road will go, don’t know what the future holds I guess we’ll find our way when all is said and done So we’ll go hand in hand, and take it day by day As we set off on the road down Hwy 1 Yeah we’ll set off on the road down Hwy 1 We can find our way somewhere on Hwy 1

Home 05:38
Well I was standing on a railway platform down in Ingersoll And I was thinking ‘bout a pretty girl I knew from years ago Ah, I used to know her name I guess some things are always bound to change And I was kicking back with my friends and talking about the day As we walked on the rocky shores over at Humber’s Bay Ah, so many words I could have said What good are feelings when they’re kept inside my head? And all the people I meet, all the places I go Turning me into the man that I know In every moment, I’m never alone For I know This is Home Well I was driving down the T-C Highway and chasing orange skies “Bobcaygeon” came on the radio and tears filled my eyes Ah, I’ve had it on my mind But something about it seemed so different this time And I was kneeling at the foot of my bed and praying for a friend And I was asking the Lord above, “Please, let him walk again” They said he wouldn’t live that day But he stood up on his own just today And all the people I meet, all the places I go Turning me into the man that I know In every moment, I’m never alone For I know This is Home Yeah, this is Home I was reading the Sunday news and sipping on coffee When I saw that old man’s photo smiling back at me Ah, seems like just yesterday I spoke with him, he had so much left to say Well I was sitting on a park bench somewhere along that Speedy Creek And I was thinking to myself, “Why’d I ever have to leave?”

Another day, coming to a peaceful close The daylight fades as the Sun sets below So I looked out on the city one more time And prayed a prayer to God on High To rest this weary heart of mine Have I known it all this time? Ten-thousand miles (Ten-thousand miles) In the blink of an eye (Years flying by) And one sweet dream (Dreamt through this day) No tears to cry (No tears to cry) In the cool of the evening late one June (I walked outside) And I saw the Starlight And I knew I was home I’m coming home (Starlight) (Coming home) I'm coming home (Starlight) (Coming home) I'm coming home (Starlight) (Coming home) I'm coming home (Starlight) (Coming home) Coming home (Starlight) (Coming home)
